My name is Jodi Stouder, and I am a Catholic, Conservative Republican candidate for Huntington County Commissioner. Huntington County has been my home for the past 21 years, and it is where my husband and I have built our life together. We have been married for 20 years, and our family includes one daughter, a son‑in‑law, and a granddaughter who brings joy and perspective to our lives.
Although I am a transplant to the area, the family name is deeply woven into Huntington County’s history. The Stouder family’s roots here date back to 1872, with generations contributing to civic life, local business, and the county’s historical narrative. I am proud to carry that legacy forward while also bringing the perspective of someone who chose this community and grew into it.
My leadership experience has shaped my commitment to transparency, accountability, and lawful, citizen‑focused county government. I believe government must work for the people it serves, and that fiscal responsibility is essential to ensuring Huntington County remains strong for future generations.
Fiscal responsibility
It's time to halt spending and start asking for fiscal transparency!
Accountability
Owning decisions! Being transparent! Following through! Working together to solve problems while keeping the whole team aligned.
Economic Development
Saying NO to Data, solar, and wind farms.
Preserving farmland for future generations!
Huntington County is NOT for sale!
Your support plays an important role in helping me continue working on behalf of the community. I believe county government should reflect the voices of its citizens, and your contribution helps strengthen efforts focused on transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of public resources.
I believe the best ideas come from real conversations. If you’d like to meet for coffee and talk about what’s important to you and your family, I would be honored to connect.
